Last week JT of Good Life brought Japan's human beatbox Afra over for two shows at the Lotus Soundbar. It was my first time at the Lotus Soundbar and meeting Afra. Big Mox was also there to jam on the mic with Afra. For the longest I've heard many good stories of Afra (such as him visiting the beatbox community in New York organized by Kid Lucky's Beatboxer Entertainment), and I knew of Afra as the most known/top beatboxer from Japan. This Friday, March 13th from 6-8pm I will be performing live at the L&L Hawaiian BarbecueʻIwilei location (across Costco near Dole Cannery and Honolulu Community College) on 801 Dillingham Blvd. Ste. 1-E.
